Information you provide directly:

  • Account information: name, email address, and profile photo when you sign up via email or Google OAuth
  • Show logs: artist name, venue, date, star rating, and written review
  • Profile information: username, bio, and any optional details you add

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data: pages visited, buttons clicked, features used, and session duration — collected via PostHog analytics including session recordings
  • Device and browser information: browser type, operating system, device type, and IP address
  • Location data: venue coordinates collected when you search for and select a venue via Google Places, used solely to display venue maps and location-based features

Information from third parties:

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google in accordance with their privacy policy.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Display your show logs, profile, and Hubble Passport statistics
  • Power the social feed so other users can see your public activity
  • Improve the product through analytics and session recordings
  • Send transactional emails including account confirmation, password reset, and product updates via our email service EDWIN, powered by Resend
  • Understand usage patterns to inform product decisions
  • In the future, generate anonymized and aggregated behavioral insights for music industry partners including venues, artists, and promoters — this data will never include your personally identifiable information without your explicit consent
  • Process payments if and when paid subscription features are introduced

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the platform: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), PostHog (analytics), Resend (email), Google (OAuth and venue search), Stripe (future payments), and Cloudflare (DNS and security)
  • Music industry partners on an aggregated, anonymized basis only — no individual user data is shared without your explicit consent
  • Legal authorities if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public
  • Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice provided to you

We retain your account data and show logs for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your show log data
  • Opt out of analytics tracking by using a browser-level ad blocker or contacting us directly

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to power our analytics. PostHog may use cookies to identify returning visitors and record sessions. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect core functionality.

Hubble is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at missioncontrol@hubble.events and we will delete it promptly.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission via HTTPS, row-level security on our database, and strict access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time.
